1️⃣ What is the Try Scuba program?
The SSI Try Scuba is the easiest and most exciting way to take your very first bubbles underwater. This program is designed for those who want to try scuba diving for the first time, in a short but unforgettable experience. No previous experience or certification is required – you just need to know how to swim and be ready to explore a whole new world.
2️⃣ How does the activity work?
The experience lasts around 2 hours in total. We start with a short briefing where you’ll learn how to use the equipment and the basic safety rules. Then, accompanied at all times by a certified SSI instructor, you’ll make your first dive down to 5 meters deep, in a safe environment full of marine life.
3️⃣ Where does the intro dive take place?
The dive takes place at Playa Chica, Puerto del Carmen – Lanzarote’s most popular spot for first-time divers. With calm, crystal-clear waters, a volcanic seabed, and abundant fish, it’s the perfect setting for your very first underwater adventure.
